Dear Parents,
I wanted to thank you for your patience and understanding during my recent absences. As I have expressed in the past, my passion is teaching and it is my desire to be able to be with my class every school day.

Mrs. Smith's Homeroom
This week we bagan a new novel: Bridge to Terabitha. We have been working on reading the book and completing the vocabulary mostly in class. Since there are far fewer words the students should be able to complete their vocabulary maps at a much quicker pace. I have requested them leave their books at school most days. I am still missing a few books from our last novel study and when the students take the novels home they often forget/lose them. Your child can still work in the vocabulary at home and complete the book part at school for morning work.
