Our class will be beginning a new set of novels Monday. The vocabulary will be due March 26th and the novel test will be March 27th. The students will be able to work on their vocabulary for morning work as well as once a week during technology; however, they will also need to dedicate approximately 30 minutes per weekday at home. This will ensure they are staying in track and not falling behind on their novel study. Your child should complete 4 to 5 words per day. I will conduct periodical checks (every few days) and will write a note in your child's agenda if they are behind.
Please check and sign your child's agenda daily. Starting this week the student's agendas will be checked to ensure they have written down their assignments.
Our class will also be reading and discussing Adelina's Whales throughout the week. They will have a test Friday on this story and the skills that we have reviewed throughout the week.
