Mrs. Smith's News: Week of April 23-27

Dear Parents,
I hope you and your child had a super weekend despite the very gloomy weather Sunday. What a wonderful afternoon to catch up on reading!  The students and I had a great time rotating through the Earth Day stations Friday afternoon....I hope you had a chance to talk with your child about these activities.
This week both classes will be reading Moonwalk by Ben Bova.  Throughout this science fiction unit the students will be learning information about outer space and space travel.  I know you will enjoy hearing about this science related weekly unit.
