Dear Parents,
I hope your child had a wonderful and restful spring break! Although, having the time off is relaxing it is always great to get back into a routine. I had a splendid time with my toddler but am glad to be back with my class.
These next several weeks are going to be filled with both hard work and fun as we prepare for EOG tests and review essential fourth grade skills. Please encourage your child to continue to work hard in school and resist the urge to contract “spring fever”. Also as a parent, please continue to support the hard work we are doing at school by signing your child’s agenda and ensuring they have completed their daily homework assignments.

EOG practice testing: Thursday (4/19), Tuesday (4/24), and Wednesday (4/25)
Spring Picture Day- Wednesday (4/18) Spring pictures are not pre paid, they only money the students need to bring is if they want to buy a class picture or a whole school picture which is $15
Earth Day-Friday (4/20): Dress comfortable and be ready for outside activities
Fourth Grade Music Performance- May 1st (Arrive at 6:15pm) Please come support the fourth graders as they perform at the PTO meeting. The students will be singing, dancing, as well as playing their recorders. I know they are anxious to display their hard work in music class.

Thank you so very much for the outpouring of support with our spring party and “talent show”. The students worked hard on their performances and we were thrilled to have you attend.
This week we will be reading a Science related selection entitled, Eye of the Storm. I hope you will talk with your child about this story and the things they are learning at school.
